  • Correctional Probation Basic Recruit Career and Technical Certificate

    The Correctional Probation Basic Recruit Career and Technical Certificate program provides job-related training to candidates for full-time or part-time correctional officer positions that require entry-level certification in accordance with Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 11B-35, Florida Administrative Code. It can also be used to prepare students for successful completion of the State Officer Certification Examination (SOCE).

  • Correctional Probation Crossover: Corrections to Correctional Probation CTC

    The Correctional Probation Crossover: Corrections to Correctional Probation Career and Technical Certificate program prepares the student for successful completion of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s (FDLE) State Officer Certification Examination (SOCE) and to provide job-related training to candidates for full-time or part-time correctional officer positions that require entry-level certification in accordance with Chapter 943, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 11B-35, Florida Administrative Code.

    The Criminal Justice Technology, A.S. degree prepares students for a rewarding career in law enforcement or corrections and also helps persons already employed in those fields advance in their professions.

  • Early Childhood Development, Education and Management, A.S.

    The Early Childhood Development, Education and Management, A.S. degree prepares students seeking rewarding careers in early childhood education, child care facility management and/or child care facility ownership.

  • Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Technology, A.S.

    The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Technology, A.S. degree is devoted to effectively training and further preparing registered paramedics who wish to pursue employment advancement opportunities that require an associate degree, such as management and teaching.

  • Emergency Medical Technician Certificate

    The Emergency Medical Technician Certificate program prepares students for the State of Florida’s Examination for Emergency Medical Technician and/or the National Registry EMT (NREMT) and for employment as certified emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who are equipped to work as part of an emergency medical team. This program also provides the first level of educational preparation for students seeking to become registered paramedics.

  • Firefighter Career and Technical Certificate

    Through TCC’s Firefighter Certification Program, you will learn basic firefighting skills – such as climbing ladders, pulling hose, working with rope, extricating victims from wrecked vehicles, fighting fire and maintaining equipment. You will also learn about communications, fire prevention and handling hazardous materials emergencies. These critical skills will help students looking for employment as a volunteer firefighter (Firefighter I) or a firefighter (Firefighter II).

  • Law Enforcement Crossover: Corrections to Law Enforcement PSAV Certificate

    The Law Enforcement Crossover: Corrections to Law Enforcement Certificate program provides job-related training for candidates who have a Florida correctional officer’s certification and seek to become a full-time or part-time law enforcement officer that requires entry-level certification in accordance with Chapter 11B-35, Florida Administrative Code, and Chapter 943, Florida Statutes.

  • Paralegal/Legal Studies, A.S.

    The Paralegal/Legal Studies, A.S. program prepares students to perform effectively as a part of a legal services team and helps students successfully enter the field of paralegal and/or legal assisting. The course work in the program also serves as an informal primer for students considering law school.

  • Paramedic Certificate

    The Paramedic Certificate program prepares students for the State of Florida’s Paramedic Certification Exam and/or the National Registry of EMT Paramedic Exam (NREMT Paramedic) and for employment as registered paramedics that can perform safely and effectively as part of an emergency medical team.
