  • Cyber Forensics Certificate

    Coming Fall of 2019, students can earn a certificate in Cyber Forensics. This unique program examines information security legal issues, digital forensics, and cybercrime. Students learn cyber forensics investigation procedures while assessing federal and state laws that impact private and government organizational information security. Students will also learn about search warrants and chain of custody procedures which are vital to forensic investigations. Key topics include information security governance, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, identity theft, phishing, and hacking. Working with our highly qualified faculty, students will explore actual case studies and examine the effects of cybercrime on society and the ongoing legislation introduced to combat it.

  • Drafting and Design Technology, A.S.

    The Drafting and Design Technology, A.S. degree equips students with technical knowledge and skills that enable them to translate ideas, specifications and calculations to complete accurate working drawings and to use appropriate applications of geographic information systems (GIS) in topographic surveying. This program is great for anyone interested in becoming drafters, computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, CAD specialists, GIS technicians, or assistant to architects, engineers or surveyors.

    The Help Desk/Technical Support Certificate program provides training for students looking for entry-level employment in help desk services and technical support.

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship

    Students and community members looking to explore, start or grow a business can enroll in this non-credit class that can be articulated into 3 credit hours. This course develops necessary business skills like performing a competitor analysis, estimating an accurate sales forecast, creating a marketing plan, determining necessary (lean start-up or bootstrapping) expenses, and writing a business plan.

  • Network Enterprise Administration Certificate

    The Network Enterprise Administration Certificate program is devoted to training and preparing students for entry-level positions in computer networking-related fields.

  • Risk Management – Introduction to Risk Management and Insurance Certificate

    COMING FALL 2019: This course (RMI2662) is an introduction to the principles, practices and economics of insurance. Topics include fire, life and casualty contracts, business and contingency risks, commercial and residential insurance, inland marine and transportation coverages and multi-peril contracts. Course content will include Florida insurance requirements and regulation, rules, and guidelines for each type of insurance.

  • Risk Management – Personal and Business Property Insurance

    COMING FALL 2019: This course (RMI2212) provides an overview of personal and business property risks and offers appropriate coverages for the risks. Topics include underwriting considerations, commercial and residential fire, inland marine and transportation coverages, and a review of multiple-peril contracts. Other relevant topics designed to protect consumer assets are reviewed, including marketing options and societal issues. The course also reviews Florida insurance licensing regulations and guidelines.

  • Risk Management – Personal Insurance Planning

    COMING FALL 2019: This course (RMI2110) is an introduction to personal risk exposures that integrates life, health, property liability, and private and governmental programs. Topics include planning and methods of analysis for all forms of personal insurance, including auto, home, residential fire, earthquake, marine, personal property liability, financial planning, life, health, and insurance coverage alternatives. Other insurance planning topics include profit-sharing, governmental and pension programs. The course also reviews the implementation of Florida insurance licensing regulations and guidelines.

  • Small Business Management Certificate

    The Small Business Management Certificate program provides entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge necessary to establish, operate or enhance the success of a new or existing small business.

  • Sports, Fitness and Recreation Management, A.S.

    The Sports, Fitness and Recreation Management, A.S. program helps students develop skills that are necessary for those looking for careers as recreation leaders, recreation supervisors, group recreation workers, activity leaders or recreation event coordinators.
